‘Incredible recognition for the whole team at Kents Cavern’

One of Devon’s top visitor attractions is celebrating today having won multiple awards at two prestigious ceremonies. Kents Cavern is widely regarded as one of Devon’s most iconic prehistoric attractions.

The team secured several major accolades at both the regional Devon Tourism Awards and the national Group Travel World Awards.

Both award ceremonies took place at the end of last month in Devon’s Sandy Park  – and The President Hotel in London.

At the Group Travel World Awards, Kents Cavern proudly claimed the title of Best Group-Friendly Attraction – Small.

The attraction provides guided tours to visitors which includes school groups and tour operators. Managers explain their goal is to help deepen our understanding of Britain’s Stone Age history.

Kents Cavern secured three accolades at the Devon Tourism Awards with its ‘Carols in the Cave’ event earning Gold for the Tourism Event / Festival of the Year.

The attraction also received Gold in the International Tourism Award – due to its success in drawing visitors from around the world to explore its ancient chambers.

Rounding off the night, Kents Cavern’s café was awarded Bronze for Café & Tearoom of the Year.
