More than £140,000 funding for Yeovil business

Business leaders are celebrating the recent announcement of £144,500 to boost the iAero Centre in Yeovil so the team can pioneer a ‘Factory of the Future.’

The Heart of the South West LEP says the cash injection will ‘support high-value engineering Factory of the Future digitisation’ for small and medium enterprises.

It’s envisaged the funding will allow the iAero Centre at Yeovil to install a range of high tech equipment.

The iFACTORe system will allow companies in the industry to collect and analyse vast amounts of data. Experts say it’ll have ‘the potential to enhance efficiency and productivity whilst also fostering innovation and competitiveness.’
