Autumn sees popular Inspiraology hypnotherapy training starting in Plymouth
Over the course of the next few weeks, the Inspiraology team will be welcoming a new intake for its prestigious hypnotherapy training course at The Observatory Practice in Plymouth.
Inspiraology guides students throughout their professional development so they can go on to become successful practitioners.
The company has a total of 24 UK based centres with one in London and two international schools in Poland and Turkey. There are also opportunities to engage in online learning.
The course itself lasts for ten months and has been designed to provide all of the in-depth understanding, skillset and knowledge which is required to successfully work with a broad range of clients.
‘Inspiraology is using the most up to date research in the field of neuroscience to ensure its training is at the leading edge for best practice in the areas of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy,’ explains Matthew Cahill, Inspiraology’s director.
‘We are always delighted to welcome new students as we know the course will provide them with an excellent toolkit for them to use throughout their careers.’
Learning sessions include sections on weight management, stop smoking, phobias and how to reduce stress and anxiety levels.
Previous attendees for the Inspiraology course have started their own successful therapy practices having completed training.

Students are invited into The Observatory Practice for two days a month where they will learn how the brain works and why we start to think in ways which cause us problems in day to day life.
Crucially, the instructors explain how we can use hypnotherapy to overcome these issues.
‘The Inspiraology training course is designed to be very thorough,’ explains Jo Perry, who runs training at The Observatory Practice in The Crescent, Plymouth.
‘By the end of the programme, successful students will have gained a strong understanding of how the brain works and how hypnotherapy can make a difference for someone struggling in key aspects of their life.’
‘Seeing the successes of clients who come to see you to overcome difficulties in their lives can be a hugely rewarding experience and their feedback can provide a real sense of job satisfaction.’
‘Inspiraology offers post-course support, supervision and CPD opportunities.’
Professional support continues beyond course completion
Outside the classroom, students are encouraged to engage in their own study so they can put together their portfolios for internal (and external) assessments.
The course provides 120 ‘in-person’ hours of instruction. The total amount of time to complete the course consists of 450 hours, including study away from the classroom and the completion of a number of assessments.
Completion of the course allows delegates to be provided with the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH) which is awarded by Inspiraology (IHT).
Successful students also gain the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) which is accredited at Level 4 on the National Qualification Framework by the NCFE and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.
