Dave Hockton says Plymouth Science Park ‘is a thriving hub of innovation’
Business leaders are celebrating following the recent announcement that Dave Hockton will be the new Interim CEO of Plymouth Science Park.

He joins the Park with extensive experience in managing and developing technology parks, having previously led MIRA Technology Park in Leicestershire as a high-performing, award-winning site and top UK Enterprise Zone.

Dave Hockton is the new Interim CEO of Plymouth Science Park
As an accomplished leader with a background in science and technology parks, Dave has successfully driven growth and innovation across major facilities, attracting high-profile tenants and enhancing site infrastructure.
He took up the post earlier this month. His background includes experience in senior estates’ management where previous roles and posts have included Director of the UK Science Park Association.
Plymouth Science Park, a joint venture between the University of Plymouth and Plymouth City Council. Its 25-acre campus is home to more than 90 companies dedicated to advancing knowledge, driving innovation and supporting regional growth.
It follows the news that Plymouth Science Park’s former CEO, Ian McFadzen, stepped down from his role at the start of this month.
