New innovations in healthcare were at the top of the agenda at the recent Health Tech Summit which was held a few days ago. The conference took place at Plymouth Science Park and saw delegates attend from across the region.

It brought together NHS leaders together with health tech founders, investors, academics and national funders. Their goal is to accelerate the rate of innovation in the healthcare sector.

It was the first major health tech event in the region and it marked the official launch of the Innovation Starts Here: Health Tech Funding Playbook.

Experts explain that the Playbook provides a comprehensive industry guide to support growing businesses as they seek funding to develop technology for healthcare.
