Cornwall Air Ambulance scheme to encourage supporters
Supporters can ‘fly alongside’ the Cornwall Air Ambulance crew when they’re out ‘on a shout.’ A scheme’s been recently launched whereby you can have your name featured on the base of the charity’s brand new AW169 helicopter.
The charity explains how a gift of £100 allows you to ‘become a #heli2 hero.’ In return, you can have your name or the name of a loved one or community group included on the helicopter’s livery.
The goal is to help to bring a second aircraft to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The charity says every name added will help to save many more lives for years to come.
The campaign is part of their #heli2 appeal, aiming to raise £2.85m by the end of year to bring a second state-of-the-art AW169 helicopter to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Always having the best possible aircraft ‘ready and available’
